- 250grams strawberries
- 2tablespoons Woolworths balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 200grams burrata, drained
- 100grams thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1/2 loaf sourdough bread, sliced
- 2tablespoons continental parsley leaves, coarsely chopped
Description
With a delightful mix of sweet and savoury flavours, this simple burrata, prosciutto and balsamic platter is the ultimate summer entertaining dish.
Method
Step 1 of 5
Hull, then slice strawberries. Place in a large glass bowl.
Step 2 of 5
Add vinegar, oil and glaze and stir to combine. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 3 of 5
Tear burrata. Using the back of a spoon, spread burrata over a serving platter.
Step 4 of 5
Top burrata with strawberries, reserving leftover liquid from strawberry bowl. Tear prosciutto into thin strips and add to platter. Drizzle with leftover strawberry liquid.
Step 5 of 5
Preheat a chargrill pan. Brush 6 slices sourdough with oil. Cook slices for 1 minute each side or until toasted. Sprinkle salad with parsley and freshly ground black pepper. Serve platter with grilled sourdough.
