  • 1kilograms carrots, peeled, halved lengthways
  • 1/4 cup honey, heated
  • 1/2 punnet chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Description

Coated in a delicious parmesan crust, these sweet and savoury carrots make a perfect flavourful side dish for any festive spread.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. In a large bowl, combine butter, garlic and parmesan. Carefully score a cross-hatch pattern into the cut-side of each carrot. Press cheese mixture on the cut-side of carrots.

Step 2 of 2

Place carrots, cut-side down, on tray. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender and golden. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with chives. Serve with sour cream.
