For the avo-mayo
- 1 avocado, smashed
- 2tablespoons whole mayonnaise
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 3teaspoons MasterFoods Taco Seasoning
- 8 small corn street tacos, spray with olive oil
- 400grams flat head fish, cut into 5cm pieces
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 3 limes (save 1 lime wedges for serving)
- 200grams beetroot & carrot, slaw
- 4 small green chillies
- handful of coriander (for garnish)
Description
An alternative take on tacos, try these crunchy tostadas with delicate white fish packed with flavour. A quick simple recipe to put together and serve up for dinner or to be shared with friends.
Method
Step 1 of 7
Preheat oven 180°C.
Step 2 of 7
Line tacos on a baking tray single layer and lightly spray with olive oil.
Step 3 of 7
Bake for 5min to 10min until the tacos get crispy, remove from oven and leave to cool.
Step 4 of 7
Roll the fish in the MasterFoods™ Taco Seasoning until evenly coated.
Step 5 of 7
Heat olive oil in a shallow based frying pan on medium.
Step 6 of 7
Add fish and cook for 3min to 5min until just cooked, squeeze over lime, remove and place onto paper tower.
Step 7 of 7
Assemble each tostada with a generous dollop of avo-mayo, slaw, top with fish, more lime juice, garnish with coriander and serve.
