  • 200grams oats
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 2 medium pears, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2teaspoons vanilla
  • 100grams almonds, chopped
  • 1teaspoons baking powder
  • 4tablespoons Greek yoghurt (to serve)

Description

This easy bake is warming and full of autumnal flavours, perfect for a sweet breakfast or healthy dessert.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Pre-heat the oven to 170°C. Mix the milk, spices, apples and pears in a small saucepan and cook on medium heat for 8 minutes to soften the fruit.

Step 2 of 3

Pour the mix into a large bowl, stir in the oats, egg, vanilla, almonds and baking powder and mix well.

Step 3 of 3

Tip the mix into an ovenproof baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm with yoghurt dolloped on top.
