Learn how to make an easy mushroom sauce to serve with hot chips, steak or pasta.
Method
Step 1 of 1
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion, thyme and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until onion has softened. Add mushroom and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Stir in wine and cream. Increase heat and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 10 minutes or until reduced by half. Season.
