- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3 handfuls fresh herbs
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 1/3 cup nuts
Description
This pesto recipe is easy to whip up and use throughout the week for various meals. Spread it on toast for breakfast, use it as a dip for snacks or heat as a sauce for pesto pasta at dinner.
Method
Step 1 of 1
Place all ingredients (except oil) in a food processor and blitz until resembles chunky consistency. Season well with salt and pepper, then add oil and blitz to combine. Use straight away, or place in a jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks (add a little oil to the surface of the pesto to keep it fresh for longer).
