Method

Step 1 of 4

Place chocolate in a small heatproof bowl. Combine cream, brown sugar and salt in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a simmer. Add cream mixture to chocolate and stir until smooth. Set aside.

Step 2 of 4

Cut each wonton wrapper into thirds. Stack 2 pieces on top of each other and cut a 2cm slit in the middle. Pull one end through the slit to make a bow shape. Combine caster sugar and cinnamon sugar in a bowl and set aside.

Step 3 of 4

Add enough oil to a large saucepan to reach 5cm up side of pan and heat over medium-high heat. To test if oil is ready, dip handle end of wooden spoon into oil until bubbles form and break around handle. Line a plate with paper towel and set aside.

Step 4 of 4

Fry wonton bows, in batches, for 1 minute on each side or until golden. Using a slotted spoon, remove and place on plate, then toss in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat. Serve with salted chocolate sauce.
