Description
Indulge in a festive white Christmas margarita infused with the flavours of coconut, tequila, Cointreau and lime for a holiday treat like no other.
Instruction tip
Prep tip:If you don’t have a blender that crushes ice well, working in batches, place the ice in a ziplock bag, wrap in tea towel and crush using a rolling pin. Then blitz the crushed ice with the cocktail ingredients using a handheld blender.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Spread coconut over a small plate. Cut 4 thin slices from half of 1 lime. Rub the remaining lime half around the rims of four serving glasses. Dip glass rims in coconut and rotate to coat. Cut a slit in each lime slice and place on the glass rim. Juice the lime half and the remaining 2 limes.
Step 2 of 3
Using a high-power blender, process ice until finely crushed. Add tequila, Cointreau, coconut cream and 100ml lime juice. Process until well combined.
Step 3 of 3
Pour among prepared glasses. Top with a cherry. Serve.
