  • 1 lemon
  • 4 Woolworths green tea bags
  • 20grams ginger, unpeeled, sliced
  • 1 stick Woolworths cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Woolworths maple syrup
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced diagonally
  • 125grams raspberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1.25L Woolworths lemonade, chilled
  • 500grams Woolworths vanilla ice-cream
  • 1/4 bunch mint, leaves picked

Description

The perfect blend of sweet and tangy, these refreshing iced tea spiders will hit the spot on a balmy day.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Using a peeler, peel away a 5cm strip of lemon and place in a heatproof jug. Squeeze in lemon juice and add tea bags, ginger, cinnamon stick and maple syrup. Pour in 1 cup boiling water, stir, then set aside to steep for 15 minutes. Remove tea bags, strain, then chill for 30 minutes or until cold.

Step 2 of 3

Once the syrup has cooled, pour the mixture into serving glasses. Add cucumber, raspberries and orange. Top up with lemonade.

Step 3 of 3

Add 1½ scoops of ice-cream into each glass. Top with mint and serve immediately.
