- 2 cups Woolworths unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Woolworths basmati rice
- 3 green cardamom pods, crushed
- 1teaspoons Woolworths ground cinnamon
- 1tablespoons dried rose petals
Description
A traditional Diwali delicacy, this creamy rice kheer – a sweet rice pudding infused with fragrant spices – will leave you feeling warm and satisfied.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Place almond milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Add sugar and stir for 2 minutes or until dissolved.
Step 2 of 2
Add rice and cardamom and cook, stirring for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender and mixture is thick and creamy. Spoon rice pudding into bowls. Sprinkle with cinnamon and rose petals. Serve.
