- 8 thin beef sausages
- 2 Lebanese-bread wraps
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 30grams baby spinach leaves
Description
Ramp up pizza night with this Italian recipe that re-creates the simple pleasures of Tuscan cuisine. Load Lebanese bread with pizza sauce, sausage, onion, spinach and grated cheese to impress even the fussiest eaters.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Grease and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Step 2 of 4
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add sausages and cook, turning occasionally, for 5 minutes or until cooked and browned. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Slice.
Step 3 of 4
Place bread on prepared trays. Spread with sauce. Top with half the cheese, then sausage, onion and remaining cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until pizza bases are crisp and the cheese has melted.
Step 4 of 4
Serve pizzas topped with spinach leaves.
