Turmeric Tea With Apple And Mint

- 1 1/2tablespoons black tea leaves
- 1 granny smith apple, cored, chopped into thick strips
- 6 sprig mint
- 1teaspoons turmeric powder
- honey (to taste)
Method
Step 1 of 3
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to the boil. Add turmeric and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Add 4 mint sprigs and 3/4 of the apple. Simmer for a further 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add black tea leaves. Stand for 3-5 minutes to steep.
Step 3 of 3
Strain tea into a jug then add in remaining mint leaves. Pour into glasses and serve with remaining apple on the side.
