Description

This speedy Chow Mein recipe can be on the table in just 10 minutes. A traditional Chinese noodle dish, featuring tender chicken with crunchy bean sprouts and baby corn.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Cook chow mein noodle stir-fry according to pack instructions, in microwave 6 – 7 minutes.

Step 2 of 5

Meanwhile, in a bowl combine chicken with soy & oyster sauces, Chinese cooking wine (if using) and honey, and toss to coat.

Step 3 of 5

Heat the peanut oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat. Add chicken and baby corn to pan and sear, tossing regularly for approximately 4-5 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Remove pan from heat and keep warm.

Step 4 of 5

Once noodles are ready, return pan to the heat, and combine chicken and corn with the noodles, bean sprouts and sesame oil. Cook whilst tossing for 1 – 2 minutes.

Step 5 of 5

Divide stir-fry between serving bowls, and serve topped with spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
