Method

Step 1 of 1

Place red wine vinegar, star anise, 1 cup water and 2 tsp salt in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil over low heat. Add cherries and cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Store in a sterilised glass jar or an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month.
