- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 1.50kilograms pork shoulder, trimmed
- 3tablespoons chipotle pasteingredient tip
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 8 cloves garlic, skin on
- 3tablespoons lime juice
Description
This easy slow cooker pulled pork takes no effort and is worth waiting for.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium-high heat and sear pork shoulder on all sides.
Step 2 of 3
Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker, pour in the chipotle paste, chicken stock and lime juice and place the garlic cloves into the sauce.
Step 3 of 3
Cook on low for 6-8 hours then remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with 2 forks. Squish the garlic cloves out of their skin and place the pulled pork and garlic back in the sauce to warm, season and serve.
