  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4tablespoons butter
  • 2 onion, peeled and sliced
  • 4 peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 10grams thyme
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 1/4-plus 2 tsp cup whiskey

Description

Sweet and savoury, melting and full of flavour, these simple slow cooker pork chops with peaches are best served with mashed potatoes.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Season the pork chops with salt. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick skillet and brown the pork chops on both sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.

Step 2 of 2

Top with onions, peaches, thyme and garlic. Season with salt. Tip in the whiskey and cook on Medium for 2-3 hours, or until the porkchop is fully cooked. Serve with mashed potatoes if desired.
