Description
Once you've cooked your roast chicken in the slow cooker you may never go back, perfectly cooked and juicy every time.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Mix the butter with thyme and garlic. Ease the skin gently away from the chicken breasts and spread the butter underneath evenly.
Step 2 of 3
Place the onions rings in the base of the slow cooker, pour in the stock and wine and place the chicken on top, breast side up.
Step 3 of 3
Place the lid on and cook on high for 45 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 8 hours until tender.
