  • 1/4 bunch sage, about 4 leaves, finely chopped
  • 3tablespoons creme fraiche

Description

This elegant and easy pork dish is great for low and slow cooking, with delicious tender pears and woody sage.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Heat the oil in a large pan on medium high heat and seal the pork discs on all sides, about 2 minutes. Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and place in the slow cooker. Cook the onions for 5-6 minutes until softened and add to the slow cooker.

Step 2 of 2

Add the pears, chicken stock, mustard and sage and cook on low for 4 hours. Stir through the creme fraiche and serve.
