Method

Step 1 of 4

Cut ribs into smaller portions, then place in a 5.5L slow cooker. Combine sauces, sugar, vinegar and seasoning in a small bowl. Pour over ribs, turning ribs to coat. Cook, covered, on low for 8 hours (or on high for 4 hours) or until tender.

Step 2 of 4

Arrange ribs in a single layer on a baking tray lined with foil. Transfer sauce mixture to a large saucepan. Bring to the boil over high heat. Boil for 5 minutes or until thickened.

Step 3 of 4

To make the coleslaw, combine mayonnaise and mustard in a large bowl. Add cabbages and onion, then season and toss to coat.

Step 4 of 4

Preheat oven grill to high. Brush ribs with a little sauce, then grill for 5 minutes or until caramelised and sticky. Serve ribs with coleslaw and remaining sauce.
