Sauce
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 45grams unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1tablespoons Top ‘n’ fill caramel spread
  • 1 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel ice-cream
  • 1tablespoons unsalted roasted peanuts

Grease a 5.5L slow cooker bowl.

Sift flour and cocoa into a bowl, then stir in sugar and salt. Make a well in the centre, then add milk, vanilla and butter. Stir until just combined. Spoon mixture into slow cooker.

To make the sauce, place sugar, cocoa and 21/2 cups boiling water in a heatproof jug, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Pour mixture over the back of a large metal spoon over mixture in slow cooker.

Lay a tea towel on top of slow cooker, then cover with lid. Fold up overhanging tea towel so it sits on lid, not hanging down sides of slow cooker. Cook pudding on high for 1 hour 15 minutes or until centre is firm and sauce is bubbling at sides.

Step 5 of 5

Divide pudding among bowls. Top with caramel spread, ice-cream, peanuts and chocolate.
