  • 1/3 cup Patak's butter chicken curry paste
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 bunch coriander, leaves picked
  • 1 cup Woolworths Greek-style natural yoghurt
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, grated
  • 450grams Woolworths microwave jasmine rice

Loaded with aromatic Indian flavours, this easy, budget-friendly butter chicken recipe will become a family favourite.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through and browned. Add paste and tomatoes and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Step 2 of 3

Chop half of the coriander. To make raita, combine yoghurt, cucumber and chopped coriander in a small bowl. Season.

Step 3 of 3

Meanwhile, warm naan in oven according to packet instructions. Microwave rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice amongst bowls. Spoon over chicken mixture. Top with raita and serve with naan.
