- 2teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 600grams pork sausages
- 1 brown onion, sliced
- 285grams Keen's meal base curried sausages
- 250grams Woolworths frozen peas
- 2 cups Sunrice medium grain calrose rice
- 120grams Woolworths leafy salad mix
Description
This easy, flavoursome curried sausages recipe is guaranteed to become a family favourite.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add sausages and cook for 10 minutes, turning, or until golden-brown. Remove from pan and slice.
Step 2 of 3
Add onion to pan and cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Return sliced sausages to pan and add meal base. Simmer for 5 minutes or until heated through, adding peas in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Step 3 of 3
Meanwhile, cook rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice among plates. Spoon over curried-sausage mixture. Serve with salad mix.
