Description

Dig into the flavours of India with this super easy butter chicken recipe. Serve with Greek natural yoghurt and tasty naan bread to complement the rich, aromatic curry.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place flour in a large bowl. Season. Stir in cup yoghurt until mixture forms a soft dough. Turn dough out onto a clean work surface lightly dusted with plain flour and knead until smooth. Set aside for 15 minutes to rest.

Step 2 of 4

Prepare butter chicken according to packet instructions and add chicken.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, divide dough into 4 portions. Roll 1 portion of dough out between 2 sheets of baking paper to form an oval. Heat 1 tbs oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add rolled dough and cook for 2 minutes each side or until golden-brown and cooked. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining oil and dough portions to make 4 naans in total.

Step 4 of 4

Spoon rice between serving bowls. Top with butter chicken, some yoghurt and coriander. Season with pepper. Serve with naan and remaining yoghurt.
