Choc-Peanut Drizzle
- 3/4 cup natural smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2tablespoons maple syrup
Date "Caramel"
- 1 cup natural smooth peanut butter
- 2 cups dates, pitted
- 3/4 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts
- 20 pitted dates
- 1 pinch sea salt flakes

Learn how to make this irresistible, no-cook raw peanut and date caramel slice, that's perfect for dessert and simply melts in your mouth.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Grease a 17 x 27cm slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 3cm above edges.
Step 2 of 4
Place peanuts, dates, salt flakes and 1/2 cup water in a food processor and process until almost smooth and combined. Using back of a metal spoon, press mixture into base of pan to compact. Clean food processor.
Step 3 of 4
To make the date ‘caramel’, place dates, peanut butter, 1/2 cup peanuts and 1 cup water in a food processor and process until smooth and combined. Spread ‘caramel’ over peanut mixture and sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes or until firm.
Step 4 of 4
To make choc-peanut drizzle, place peanut butter and oil in a microwave- safe bowl and microwave, uncovered, on high for 30 seconds or until melted. Add cocoa and syrup, stirring until combined. Pour mixture over date ‘caramel’ and smooth top. Chill in fridge for 2 hours or until set. Serve.
