Method

Step 1 of 3

Place water into a saucepan and bring to the boil.

Step 2 of 3

Cut, peel and deseed butternut pumpkin and add to water. Cover saucepan, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until pumpkin is tender.

Step 3 of 3

Remove 1 cup of pumpkin mixture. Mash to desired consistency for baby's developmental age and cool. Note: Serves 20 quarter cup serves for infants starting on solids.
