  • 100grams sugar (50g for pears, 50g for crumble)

Description

A change from the traditional apple, this dessert delivers sweetness with the familiar crumbly crunchy top.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat up a pot to a medium head with the pears, water, 50g of sugar and cinnamon. Cook the pears for 8 minutes while turning occasionally.

Step 2 of 3

While the pears are cooking, combine the flour and oats with 50g of sugar and the butter. Remove the pears from the heat and mash the contents lightly.

Step 3 of 3

Place the pears into the serving dishes of choice and evenly cover with the crumble mix. Place the crumbles under a grill on medium heat and roast for 4 minutes or until its lightly browned.
