- 20grams butter, chopped
- 8 apples (approx. 180g each)
- 1/2teaspoons ground cinnamon
- custard (or thick cream to serve)
- 1tablespoons brown sugar
- 2tablespoons raisins, chopped
- 1/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
Description

Method
Step 1 of 2
Preheat oven to 180°C. Combine apricots, raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Core apples and make a shallow cut into the skin around the middle of each. This prevents the apples splitting.
Step 2 of 2
Arrange apples into a large shallow baking dish. Fill cavities with fruit mixture. Dot tops with butter. Pour 1 cup of water into the base of the dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve immediately with custard or thick cream.
