Description
A moist and sweet tarte dessert with a crisp and crunchy texture.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Melt the sugar on a pan on medium heat for 3 minutes or until the sugar melts fully and the liquid starts to brown.
Step 2 of 3
Add the butter to the pan and once the butter has melted, add the sliced pears, ginger and cinnamon and cook for 4 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Step 3 of 3
Roll out the puff pastry and remove the pears from the heat. Now decoratively place the pears in a shallow circular cake tin and then the puff pastry and tuck the edges in around the cake tin. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the pastry is nicely crumbled.
