  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 1/2tablespoons self raising flour (extra)
  • 1teaspoons cinnamon (heaped)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 3tablespoons butter, melted

This cake is very light and fluffy

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 180C. Lightly grease and line a 20cm cake tin with baking paper and set aside.

Step 2 of 4

Sift both the 1cup of self raising flour and the extra 1 1/2 tablespoons and cinnamon into a large bowl.

Step 3 of 4

Add sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla and pour melted butter into ingredients, beat for about 3 minutes or until mixture is well combine.

Step 4 of 4

Pour mixture into your cake tin and bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer.
