For the garnish
- 30grams white chocolate, shards
- 4 medium mince pies, broken
- 50grams flour
- 1teaspoons allspice
- 1teaspoons vanilla extract
- 60grams unsalted butter
- 2 medium eggs
- 100grams brown sugar
- 30grams dark chocolate, 15g broken
- 2tablespoons milk
- 30grams milk chocolate, 15g broken
Description
A festive take on a traditional chocolate brownie.
Method
Step 1 of 6
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter with the vanilla, milk and sugar until fluffy.
Step 2 of 6
Melt half of the dark and milk chocolate in the microwave for a few seconds. Add the eggs to the mixing bowl and combine fully.
Step 3 of 6
Incremently sift the flour and allspice into the mixing bowl while mixing. Add the eggs to the mixing bowl and combine fully.
Step 4 of 6
Add the broken mince pies and the broken pieces of dark and cmilk chocolate. Lastly add the melted chocolate to the mix and combine fully.

Transfer to a buttered baking tin and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked fully.
Step 6 of 6
Allow the brownie to cool slightly before serving with white chocolate shards as a garnish.
