  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 4 sheets filo pastry
  • 2 1/2tablespoons caster sugar
  • 2 1/2tablespoons walnuts

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 of 3

Combine sugar, walnuts, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.

Step 3 of 3

Brush 2 filo sheets with butter and layer on top of each other. Brush top lightly with butter. Cut stack into 4 strips, crossways. Scatter half the sugar mixture over filo. Fold strips in half to enclose filling and twist. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place on tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Serve.
