- 6 large sheets filo pastry
- 50grams unsalted butter, melted
- 4 bananas, sliced
- 6 dried figs, sliced
- 25grams caster sugar
- 1/2 lemon, grated rind
- 1/2teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1tablespoons thick double cream (to serve)

Method
Step 1 of 3
Cut the pastry sheets in half crossways. Lay one sheet flat on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter, top with a second sheet and again brush with melted butter. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
Step 2 of 3
Arrange the banana and fig slices over the pastry. Combine the sugar, lemon rind and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the fruit and drizzle over any remaining melted butter.
Step 3 of 3
Bake in a preheated oven, 200°C for 15 minutes until the pastry is crisp and the fruit golden. Serve hot with cream or Greek-style yoghurt.
