Description

Try our labna recipe. This fresh cheese made from strained yoghurt is served as a mezze dish in the Middle East. It is great with herbs. Try it today.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Stir the yoghurt and salt together until evenly combined. Spoon onto a large square of muslin, then gather together the four corners and tie the top of the bundle with string, to make a bag.

Step 2 of 3

Suspend the bag over a bowl and leave for at least 12 hours for the whey to drip through.

Step 3 of 3

Remove the strained yoghurt from the muslin, shape into a ball, and serve.
