  • 500grams mince (for kofta)

  • 2teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 75grams capsicum dip
  • 100grams hummus
  • 4 Woolworths crusty jumbo long rolls, halved
  • 3/4 cup Woolworths Smokey Chipotle Cheddar & Tasty Cheese Shredded Blend
  • 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked, chopped

Description

These easy, flavour-packed kofta hotdogs make a tasty midweek meal. The recipe uses leftover mince to help stretch the grocery budget.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Line a tray with baking paper. Roll mince into 16 balls. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and cook balls for 10 minutes or until cooked.

Step 2 of 3

Combine capsicum dip and hummus in a small bowl. Spread ¼ of the mixture inside the rolls. Top with 4 meatballs. Sprinkle with cheese.

Step 3 of 3

Bake rolls for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
