- 840grams Woolworths four-bean mix, drained, rinsed
- 400grams Woolworths Italian diced tomatoes
- 2tablespoons Woolworths barbecue sauce
- 2tablespoons Woolworths Worcestershire sauce
- 1teaspoons Woolworths dried chilli flakes
- 4 slices crusty white bread, toasted, to serve
- 1/4 cup continental parsley leaves (optional), coarsely chopped
Description
Spice up your weeknight with this flavour-packed chilli beans recipe. It's easy on the wallet and makes the most of pantry staples.

Swap tip:Canned legumes are a great protein source, and much cheaper than meat. You can also swap half of the canned beans out for firm tofu.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Combine beans, canned tomatoes and sauces in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until mixture comes to the boil.
Step 2 of 3
Add chilli. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 4 minutes or until thickened slightly.
Step 3 of 3
Place toasted bread on plates. Top with bean mixture. Serve sprinkled with parsley if using.
