Description
This recipe for savoury herb and cheese biscuits is so easy to make. Beautifully decorated with fresh herbs, they're perfect to enjoy with your favourite dip.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place flour, parmesan, herbs and pepper in a food processor and process until just combined. Add oil and egg yolk, then pulse until dough just comes together, adding a little water, if necessary. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until just smooth. Shape into a disc, then wrap in baking paper and chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll out dough between 2 sheets of baking paper until 5mm thick. Using a 5cm round cutter, cut 20 rounds from dough, re-rolling, if necessary. Transfer rounds to tray.
Step 3 of 3
Beat egg white until frothy. Brush tops of rounds with egg white and decorate with extra herb leaves. Bake for 12 minutes or until light golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Serve.
