  • 2tablespoons Macro Organic Spanish extra virgin olive oil
  • 270grams Macro Grass Fed Australian scotch fillet steak
  • 1 1/2teaspoons Macro Organic balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Macro Organic gourmet tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 320grams mix-a-mato tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1/4 bunch Macro Organic kale, leaves roughly chopped, stems thinly sliced
  • 60grams Greek-style feta, crumbled

Description

Hero grass-fed beef in this delicious steak recipe. Pair it with a fresh tomato salad, and you'll have a meal that's ready in 30 minutes.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cook quinoa according to packet instructions. Drain and cover to keep warm.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, heat 1 tbs oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Season steak with pepper. Cook steak for 3 minutes on each side for medium or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate. Cover loosely with foil and set aside for 5 minutes to rest. Thickly slice.

Step 3 of 4

Whisk vinegar and remaining oil in a large bowl. Add quinoa, tomatoes, onion, kale leaves and stalks, and cheese. Season with pepper, then toss to combine.

Step 4 of 4

Divide salad and quinoa among plates and top with steak. Serve.
