- 12 large raw prawns, peeled and deveined
- 6 squid, cleaned and halved lengthways
- 2 medium fresh medium-hot red chillies, deseeded and finely sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, grated or finely chopped
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small handful fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 piece of fresh root ginger, 2.5 cm, grated
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Method
Step 1 of 3
Put all the ingredients in a bowl, and season with salt and black pepper. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight if you have time.
Step 2 of 3
Soak 6 cocktail sticks or mini wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes before using, and preheat the grill to its highest setting.
Step 3 of 3
Thread a prawn, a piece of squid, a second prawn, and another piece of squid, onto each of the cocktail sticks or mini skewers. Sit the skewers on a baking tray, and grill each side for about 2 minutes. Serve hot with some Yoghurt, cucumber, and mint dip.
