  • 4tablespoons olive oil
  • 1teaspoons mustard seeds
  • 1teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 1teaspoons chilli flakes
  • 1 medium cucumber, chopped into bite size portions
  • 8 small radish, quartered
  • 120grams mixed salad leaves, washed and drained

Description

This salad is spicy, crunchy, nutty with a hint of pepperiness of radish.

Method

Step 1 of 3

In a small pan on a medium heat, fry the oil with cumin, mustard and chilli for 2 minutes and then remove from the heat.

Step 2 of 3

Empty contents to the small bowl and crush the seeds into the oil and set to one side.

Step 3 of 3

Now combine the rest of the ingredients in a serving bowl and drizzle with the spiced oil to serve.
