- 2tablespoons sugar
- 1 corella pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1/4teaspoons ground cumin
- 1tablespoons lemon thyme leaves
- 1 baguette
- 125grams brie
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cup walnut halves
- 1tablespoons honey
- 1teaspoons sea salt

Method
Step 1 of 3
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Combine sugar, salt and spices. In a non-stick frying pan, heat honey, 2 tsp oil and 1 tbs water over medium heat. Add walnuts and stir well to coat. Sprinkle over the sugar mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes, tossing constantly, until well coated and lightly browned. Transfer to tray and cool completely.

Diagonally slice baguette into thin slices. Brush with a little olive oil and chargrilll until golden.
Step 3 of 3
To serve, spread baguette with Crème de Brie, top with pear slices, and walnuts, and sprinkle with thyme to serve.
