- 250grams risoni
- 20grams unsalted butter
- 500grams Just Caught Cooked and Deveined Garlic Prawns, thawed
- 1 leek, halved, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
- 1/3 dill, sprigs picked and coarsely chopped
- 1teaspoons smoky paprika
Description
Calling all seafood lovers! This creamy pasta dish is loaded with juicy garlic prawns and on the table in just 20 minutes.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water for 12 minutes or until tender. Drain.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, melt butter in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add prawns and cook, turning occasionally, for 3 minutes or until cooked through and golden-brown. Transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
Step 3 of 4
Add leek to pan and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until softened slightly. Add wine and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until reduced slightly. Add cream and simmer for a further 2 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly.
Step 4 of 4
Add pasta, half of the chilli and half of the dill to cream mixture and cook for 2 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat. Top with prawns. Sprinkle with paprika and remaining chilli and dill. Serve.
