  • 1/3 cup thickened cream

Description

For a super creamy, super tasty, semi-spicy ramen carbonara, you can't go past this simple seven-ingredient recipe.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook for 4 minutes or until golden and crisp. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel.

Step 2 of 4

Open noodle packets and place noodle cakes, side by side, in pan. Add 2 cups boiling water. Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until noodles are almost tender. Remove from heat.

Step 3 of 4

Whisk egg and cream together in a jug. Remove lid. Using tongs, toss noodles to separate. Add cream mixture, dehydrated vegetable sachets and 1 seasoning sachet and toss to combine. (Add second sachet for spiciness, to taste.) Top with cheese slices. Cover. Stand for 2 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Step 4 of 4

Toss noodles to combine. Top with bacon and onion. Serve.
