Description

Flaky, buttery pastry with a chocolate-hazelnut filling will satisfy any sweet tooth and this scrumptious recipe only takes 20 minutes to make.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 of 4

Place 1 sheet of puff pastry on prepared tray. Spread with spread, leaving a 2cm border of pastry. Top with remaining pastry sheet and press edges gently to seal.

Step 3 of 4

Place an upturned glass in the centre of the pastry. Use a small sharp knife to cut pastry in quarters, cutting from outside of glass to outside of pastry. Cut each quarter into four strips.

Step 4 of 4

Twist each leg of pastry, turning in opposite directions as you work around pastry. Brush pastry with egg and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Dust with icing sugar. Serve.
