Instruction tip
Swap tip:Find chilli too spicy? Replace chilli chocolate and chilli flakes with strawberry-flavoured chocolate and top your mug with fresh strawberries.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place milk, cinnamon stick and vanilla bean in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer. Remove pan from heat and stand for 5 minutes to infuse. Remove cinnamon stick and vanilla bean.
Step 2 of 3
Add sugar to milk mixture. Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes or until hot but don’t boil. Reduce heat to low. Add chocolate and whisk until smooth.
Step 3 of 3
Place cream in a small bowl. Whisk until just soft peaks form (don’t over-whisk). Divide mixture between 2 mugs. Dollop with cream and top with chilli. Serve.
