  • 340grams Woolworths chocolate cake mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 free range eggs, lightly beaten
  • 60grams unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate fudge topping
  • 1L Woolworths vanilla ice-cream
  • 1/3 cup roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 63grams raspberries

Description

Need a dessert to wow a crowd? This gooey chocolate frying-pan cake topped with vanilla ice-cream, chopped hazelnuts and fresh raspberries takes indulgence to a whole new level.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease and line base of a 26x20cm oven-proof non-stick frying pan with baking paper.

Step 2 of 3

Prepare cake mix following packet instructions and using milk, eggs and butter. Pour cake batter into the prepared pan and level the surface. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted at the centre comes out clean. Remove from oven. Stand for 5 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Top cake with topping, ice-cream, hazelnuts and raspberries.
