  • 500grams chicken breast, diced
  • 250grams bacon, diced
  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 1 punnet sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bag baby spinach
  • 2 tubs cooking cream
  • 1 bag grated parmesan
  • 1teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4teaspoons black pepper
  • 1tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups pasta

Description

An easy chicken and cream pasta. Keep it mild or add some spice.

Method

Step 1 of 7

Add half a teaspoon of olive oil to a large frypan. Fry the diced onion for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and diced bacon and fry until caramelised.

Step 2 of 7

Add the sliced mushrooms to the bacon and onion mixture and fry until the mushrooms are just cooked. Remove and put in a bowl covered in alfoil.

Step 3 of 7

Add half a teaspoon of oil to your frypan. Cook the diced chicken until it is just cooked through.

Step 4 of 7

Add the 2 tubs of cream to the chicken and stir until it is hot. Add the parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Meanwhile add your pasta to a saucepan of boiling water with a dash of salt.

Step 5 of 7

Add black pepper to suit your taste. Add the bacon, onion and mushrooms back into the chicken and cream mixture and cook until heated through.

Add the spinach for the last 1-2 minutes before serving.

Step 7 of 7

Drain your pasta, serve into a bowl, add the creamy chicken on top and enjoy.
