  • 2tablespoons plain flour
  • 340grams craisins
  • 1/3 cup port (optional)
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1tablespoons orange rind, finely grated
  • 3 cup cranbury juice
  • 1tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup orange juice

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat olive oil in a non-stick saucepan over a medium-low heat. Add 1 small finely chopped red onion. Cook for 10 minutes or until soft. Stir in plain flour.

Step 2 of 4

Remove from heat and slowly add cranberry juice, finely grated orange rind, orange juice and port (optional), stirring constantly.

Step 3 of 4

Add dried cranberries. Return to heat. Bring to the boil, stirring.

Step 4 of 4

Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens. Season.
