  • 150grams puff pastry
  • 1 medium egg, cracked annd beaten
  • 1tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 100grams pork mince
  • 10grams panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium red onion, peeled and diced
  • 1/2teaspoons fennel, chopped
  • 1teaspoons rosemary, chopped
  • 1teaspoons olive oil

Description

This flaky pastry encased meat treat is a great addition to lunchboxes or enjoy as a filling snack.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Heat up a pan to a medium heat, add the oil and fry the garlic and onion for 2 minutes.

Step 2 of 4

Now add the mince with the herbs and breadcrumbs and continue to fry and toss for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool enough so you can touch.

Step 3 of 4

Prepare your puff pastry by brushing with beaten egg. Now place the stuffing in the pastry as tightly packed as possible, roll and seal tightly.

Step 4 of 4

Brush more egg wash on top and then sprinkly the sesame seeds over before baking. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through or dark browned on the outside and serve with a choice of sauce.
