Description
A sure family favourite, these crepes are great for breakfast, brunch or a delightful dessert.
Method
Step 1 of 7
Put water, milk, flour and egg in a blender. Blend until combined - this should take about 30 seconds.
Step 2 of 7
Melt butter. Ensure the pan is hot, but not smoking. Avoid burning the butter. Swirl melted butter around the pan to cover its entire surface.
Step 3 of 7
Place a slither of unsalted butter in a non-stick fry pan.
Step 4 of 7
Pour one ladle of the crepe mix in the pan, and tilt the pan around so the mix covers the entire surface area. Cook until bubbles appear on crepe - this should take about 30 seconds.
Step 5 of 7
Flip crepe over, and cook for a further 30 seconds. Crepes should be slightly golden in colour once cooked.
Step 6 of 7
Slide cooked crepe onto large dinner plate. Repeat steps 2 to 5 inclusive until the entire crepe mix is used up. The recipe should yield roughly 16 crepes.
Step 7 of 7
Enjoy with your favourite topping.
