  • 60grams flour
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 4teaspoons milk
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1teaspoons cracked black pepper

This traditional central European dish, is a delicious way to enjoy chicken with a crunch

Method

Step 1 of 6

Preheat the over to 160°C.

Step 2 of 6

Butterfly the chicken breasts. Sandwich the breasts between two sheets of cling film and flatten using a rolling pin.

Step 3 of 6

In a bowl crack and beat the eggs and combine with the milk.

Step 4 of 6

In another bowl, sift the flour and combine with the salt and pepper.

Step 5 of 6

Take the chicken and dip it into the egg wash, then into the flour mix, then back into egg wash and once more into the flour and set to one side.

Step 6 of 6

Shallow fry the schnitzels for 3 minutes each side. Place into oven for 10 minutes.
